&lt;p&gt;What was your biggest fear when you learned your child would
need glasses?&amp;nbsp; That they would be teased?&amp;nbsp; That they wouldn&amp;#39;t wear
their glasses?&amp;nbsp; That their vision would be impaired?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Mine was that from that moment on, I would never again look into her
eyes without lenses being in the way.&amp;nbsp; (In retrospect, it was a silly
fear - I do see her without her glasses on, and I was already looking
at her through my glasses).&amp;nbsp; I was also afraid I would lose her
glasses.&amp;nbsp; Because I&amp;#39;m a little flighty that way.&lt;/p&gt;
